Dear DMANET subscibers,

We would like to bring to your attention the one-day Utrecht
Combinatorics Workshop, that will take place Friday 7 November 2014 on
the campus of the
University of Utrecht. Utrecht is a picturesque old city in the center
of the Netherlands.
We are very pleased to announce that the following three
world-renowned combinatorialists have agreed to deliver plenary talks:

- Tomasz ?uczak (Emory U. and Adam Mickiewicz U.)
- Lex Schrijver (CWI and U. of Amsterdam)
- Tibor Szabo (FU Berlin)

In addition to these three talks, there will be a number of shorter
talks by researchers in the early stages of their career.
Currently there are still a few (very few) slots left for such talks.

The workshop is open to all and free of charge, but please register by
sending us an e-mail if you plan to attend.

The website of the workshop can be found at:
http://www.math.uu.nl/~muell001/oneday/index.html

Sincerely,

Ross Kang and Tobias Muller

NetSys 2015
2nd International Conference on Networked Systems
http://www.netsys2015.com

Cottbus, Germany, March 9-13, 2015
========================================================================

The Conference on Networked Systems (NetSys 2015) provides an
international forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry,
and government to discuss recent innovations in the realm of networked
systems ? including aspects of networking, distributed systems,
communications, middleware, and applications. NetSys is a biennial
conference that originates from the major scientific event on networked
systems in German-speaking countries KiVS (Kommunikation in Verteilten
Systemen) ? a series of conferences that was initiated 35 years ago. In
2013, NetSys was first organized on international scale in Stuttgart.
NetSys is organized by the special interest group ?Communication and
Distributed Systems? (KUVS), which is anchored both in the German
Computer Science society (Gesellschaft f?r Informatik (GI)) and in the
Information Technology society (Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im
VDE (ITG)). The conference proceedings will be submitted to IEEE
Xplore (R).

NetSys solicits submission of high-quality, original scientific papers
presenting novel research on the wide range of networked systems,
including but not limited to:

* Network architectures and protocols
* Transport- and application-layer protocols
* Emerging networked applications
* Peer-to-peer and overlay networks
* Software-defined networking
* SOA, Web services, and mobile services

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Parallel
Processing, IPDPS is an annual gathering of computer scientists from
around the world and serves as a forum to present and discuss the
latest research findings in all aspects of parallel and distributed
computing. IPDPS 2015 will host India-specific workshop events to
facilitate interaction with Indian researchers and promote possible
collaboration. Visit the IPDPS Website at www.ipdps.org regularly to
see information on several ways to participate and to learn details as
the program for 2015 develops.

IPDPS Workshops provide attendees an opportunity to explore special
topics and are a major part of the IPDPS week-long family of events.
Each workshop has its own requirements and schedule for submissions
and all are linked from the IPDPS Website. Most have a due date for
submissions later than the author notification date for regular
conference papers. Visit the IPDPS Website after September for links
to the workshops being organized for IPDPS 2015 in Hyderabad, India.

IPDPS PhD Student Program will include a PhD Forum event which offers
graduate students an opportunity to present a research poster
describing their ongoing dissertation to the entire IPDPS conference
audience. The conference will also organize mentoring sessions for
students related to research topics, scientific writing and
presentation skills.
