Deadline extension to Wednesday 17 June 2015

***** Call for Papers *****

As part of the 21st International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2015), we are inviting PhD and MSc students to apply for the Doctoral Programme (DP). The DP is an opportunity for students to meet each other as well as researchers and practitioners in the field. The spirit of the DP is that every interested student whose work is within the scope of the conference should be admitted.

Participation in the DP will involve:

- Training to the reviewing process.
- Presentation of the student work via both talk and poster.
- Discussions with a mentor with similar research interests.

***** Financial Support *****

There are funds available to support some of the students participating in the DP. The financial support usually only covers conference registration, and will be assigned with regard to mainly the financial need of a student, as indicated in a request by an advisor, and then by the quality of the submitted paper, as measured by the review process of the DP. A request for financial support should be sent by Monday 15 June 2015 to dpcp2015@gmail.com by an advisor, detailing:

- the advisor's support of the student's application; this should include a confirmation that the DP submission or a paper accepted at CP 2015 is primarily the student's work;
- which years the student has previously been to the DP and/or received financial support;
the funding available for the student's travel, accommodation, and registration, and the reason for requesting financial support.

It is the responsibility of the student to make sure that the advisor's request is submitted by the deadline.
Important Dates

Paper submission deadline:
Wednesday 17 June 2015

Financial support request deadline:
Wednesday 17 June 2015

Notification:
Monday 6 July 2015

Camera-ready version deadline:
Monday 3 August 2015

Doctoral Programme:
Monday 31 August 2015

***** Eligibility *****

The DP is open to all PhD and outstanding MSc students involved in Constraint Programming or related fields at any level. The submitted paper should contain work that is primarily the work of the student. It can either be completed or work in progress. It can also be a summary of a formally published recent paper on the student's work.
Submission Details

Applicants are required to submit a short paper (from 4 to 8 pages, excluding references) in the Springer LNCS style, and the author list should specify who is the student and who are the advisors and other co-authors. Submissions are required to be in PDF format.

All proposals should be submitted online through EasyChair- by selecting 'New Submission' at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cpdp15

Students with full or short papers accepted at the CP 2015 conference, including technical track, application track, and published-journal-paper track papers, who wish to participate in the DP do not need to submit a separate paper for the DP. Instead, such students should email the DP chairs at dpcp2015@gmail.com expressing their interest. This email should also include the paper title, abstract, author list (formatted as specified above), and the identifier that the accepted paper was given by EasyChair.
Training to the Reviewing Process

This year, the students submitting papers to the DP will participate in a training to the reviewing process. Each of the students will be assigned a submitted paper to review. The process will follow the same rules as conferences, but the reviews submitted by the students will be independent from the DP reviews received from other reviewers and will have no impact on the final acceptance or financial support decision.

The 9th Theory of Randomised Search Heuristics workshop continues the
tradition of discussing theoretical aspects of randomised search heuristics
such as evolutionary algorithms, ant colony optimisation, particle swarm
optimisation, simulated annealing, and other heuristics inspired by natural
or physical processes. It provides a forum to discuss novel and ongoing
work, new trends and ideas, and aims at stimulating interactions within the
research field and between related disciplines. The ninth workshop of the
series will take place in Sheffield, UK on the 11th and 12th of September,
2015; details about the venue as well as all other information pertaining
to the workshop can be found on the workshop homepage

*** CALL FOR PARTICIPATION ***

Clusters have become the workhorse for computational science and
engineering research, powering innovation and discovery that advance
science and society. They are the base for building today's rapidly
evolving cloud and HPC infrastructures, and are used to solve some of
the most complex problems. Clusters are the base for building today's
rapidly evolving cloud and HPC infrastructure, and are used to solve
some of the most complex problems. The challenge to make them
scalable, efficient, and more functional requires the common effort of
the cluster community in the areas of cluster system design,
management and monitoring — at hardware, system, middleware, and
application level. The IEEE Cluster conference has precisely this
goal: to be a major venue for such collective effort.

We are happy to announce a rich, high-quality conference program for
IEEE Cluster 2015 with 38 full papers accepted out of 157 submissions

Over the past decade, research in theoretical computer science, artificial intelligence, and microeconomics has joined forces to tackle problems involving incentives and computation. These problems are of particular importance in application areas like the Web and the Internet that involve large and diverse populations. The Conference on Web and Internet Economics (WINE) is an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and results on incentives and computation arising from these various fields. WINE 2015 builds on the success of the Conference on Web and Internet Economics (named Workshop on Internet & Network Economics until 2013), which was held annually from 2005 to 2014.

WINE 2015 will take place at CWI in December 2015. The program will feature invited talks, tutorials, paper presentations, and a poster session. All paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated on the basis of the quality of their contribution, originality, soundness, and significance. Industrial applications and position papers presenting novel ideas, issues, challenges and directions are also welcome. Submissions are invited in, but not limited to, the following topics:

* Algorithmic game theory
* Algorithmic mechanism design
* Auction algorithms and analysis
* Computational advertising
* Computational aspects of equilibria
* Computational social choice
* Convergence and learning in games
* Coalitions, coordination and collective action
* Economic aspects of security and privacy
* Economic aspects of distributed computing
* Network games
* Price differentiation and price dynamics
* Social networks

SUBMISSION FORMAT
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts presenting original research on any of the research fields related to WINE 2015.

An extended abstract submitted to WINE 2015 should start with the title of the paper, each author's name, affiliation and e-mail address, followed by a one-paragraph summary of the results to be presented. This should then be followed by a technical exposition of the main ideas and techniques used to achieve these results, including motivation and a clear comparison with related work.

The extended abstract should not exceed 14 single-spaced pages using reasonable margins and at least 11-point font (excluding references). If the authors believe that more details are essential to substantiate the claims of the paper, they may include a clearly marked appendix (with no space limit) that will be read at the discretion of the Program Committee. It is strongly recommended that submissions adhere to the specified format and length. Submissions that are clearly too long may be rejected immediately.

The proceedings of the conference will be published by Springer-Verlag in the ARCoSS/LNCS series, and will be available for distribution at the conference. Accepted papers will be allocated 14 pages total in the LNCS format in the proceedings. Submissions are encouraged, though not required, to follow the LNCS format. More information about the LNCS format can be found on the author instructions page of Springer-Verlag, see http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
To accommodate the publishing traditions of different fields, authors of accepted papers can ask that only a one-page abstract of the paper appear in the proceedings, along with a URL pointing to the full paper. Authors should guarantee the link to be reliable for at least two years. This option is available to accommodate subsequent publication in journals that would not consider results that have been published in preliminary form in a conference proceedings. Such papers must be submitted and formatted just like papers submitted for full-text publication.

Simultaneous submission of results to another conference with published proceedings is not allowed. Results previously published or presented at another archival conference prior to WINE 2015, or published (or accepted for publication) at a journal prior to the submission deadline of WINE 2015, will not be considered. Simultaneous submission of results to a journal is allowed only if the authors intend to publish the paper as a one-page abstract in WINE 2015. Papers that are accepted and appear as a one-page abstract can be subsequently submitted for publication in a journal but may not be submitted to any other conference that has a published proceedings.

TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
WINE 2015 is soliciting proposals for tutorials to be held on December 9, 2015. Tutorial proposals should be no more than 2 pages long and contain the title of the tutorial, a description of the topic matter, the names of the tutor(s), and dates/venues where earlier versions of the tutorial were given (if any). In addition, short biographies of the tutor(s) should be attached to the proposal. Informal suggestions of tutorial ideas can also be sent without a full proposal to the program chairs at any time. Tutorial proposals should be submitted by email to wine2015@cwi.nl.
