This year in July, SWAT will be hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark. The symposium,
which alternates with the Algorithms and Data Structures Symposium (WADS),
is a forum for researchers in the area of design and analysis of algorithms
and data structures. We hope to see as many as possible of our wonderful colleagues!
SWAT 2014 is held in Copenhagen, where several other interesting events that
might be of interest take place in the same period (details on the website):
- SEA 2014 takes place immediately before SWAT 2014
- ICALP 2014 takes place just after SWAT 2014
- Copenhagen Jazz Festival (with free music all over the city)
begins on the final day of SWAT 2014.

BGW 2014 is the third edition of an international workshop on graph
theory, organized by the LaBRI team "Graphs and applications".
The aim of this workshop is to gather renowned researchers from the
international graph community for a scientific meeting in a friendly
atmosphere. Its scope includes every field of fundamental graph theory.
The scientific program will include invited talks (50 min) and
contributed talks (20 min), selected on the basis of an extended
abstract of at most two pages. To submit an extended abstract, please

The workshop, Trends in On-Line Algorithms 2014 (TOLA 2014), will take place
on July 7, 2014, between SWAT 2014 and ICALP 2014,
both of which will be held in Copenhagen. The purpose of this workshop is to
bring together researchers interested in all aspects of online algorithms,
including classical competitive analysis, alternative performance measures,
and advice complexity.

First Call for Papers

International Workshop on Algorithms and Computation (WALCOM) is intended to
provide an international forum for researchers working in the areas of
algorithms and computation. WALCOM 2015 will be held during February 26- 28,
2015 at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
SCOPE
The range of topics within the scope of the workshop of algorithms and
computation includes (but is not limited to):
Approximation Algorithms, Algorithmic Graph Theory and Combinatorics,
Combinatorial Algorithms, Combinatorial Optimization, Computational Biology,
Computational Complexity, Computational Geometry, Discrete Geometry, Data
Structures, Experimental Algorithm Methodologies, Graph Algorithms, Graph
Drawing, Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, Parameterized Complexity,
Network Optimization, Online Algorithms, Randomized Algorithms, String
Algorithms.
AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS
Authors are invited to submit papers (extended abstracts) describing original
research of theoretical or practical significance to algorithms and
computation. Papers should not exceed 12 pages in LNCS style. Papers
significantly shorter than 12 pages are also welcome. If the authors feel that
more details are essential to substantiate the main claim of the paper, they
may include a clearly marked appendix that will be read at the discretion of
the Program Committee. Only electronic submission will be allowed. Submitted
papers must describe work not previously published. They must not be submitted
simultaneously to another conference with refereed proceedings or to a
journal.
PROCEEDINGS
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be
included in the Springer-Verlag series Lecture Notes in Computer Science
(www.springer.com/lncs).
JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUE
Special issues dedicated to WALCOM 2015 will be published at the Journal of
Graph Algorithms and Applications and the Journal of Discrete Algorithms.
VENUE
The workshop will be held at the Training Center, Atomic Energy Research
Establish, at Savar, Dhaka. The workshop will be jointly organized by
Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and Bangladesh Academy of Sciences.
